Some of that California sunshine..

I can't remember the last time I almost couldn't wait for an album to be released, but I definitely have it that way with the debut album from GospelbeacH. Due to be released in October, it's going to be a favourite for sure.

The first single, "Sunshine Skyway" dropped a few weeks ago, and it's been on constant rotation ever since.

GospelbeacH is the new band from Brent Rademaker (Beachwood Sparks, The Tyde). Along with him he got Jason Soda, Tom Sanford, Kip Boardman and last but not least probably my favourite guitarplayer at the moment, Neal Casal. The album is called Pacific Surf Line, and just there you have a favourite album - just for the title. You just know it's going to be great.

The band's sound is drenched in California-history. Poco, New Riders of the Purple Sage, The Byrds, Beach Boys and of course Beachwood Sparks. It sounds amazing. Hear for yourself in the live-set below - from the Standard Hotel in Los Angeles.
