There is no secret that I love the Grateful Dead. So does these cats from Los Angeles. Among others you find Dan Horne (Jonathan Wilson, Circles Around the Sun) and the guys from the brilliant Mapache. (Be sure to check out those guys as well, they have a debut album coming soon). As you may have guessed, Grateful Shred is a Dead-cover band, but hey, wait, come back.. They are a really really outstanding Dead-coverband. They sound just like my favourite Dead. Except that they probably sing better.. Join them in an Echo Park backyard singing the classic Cumberland Blues.
